Enjoy live performance by Kristen and The Noise this Friday night in Historic Downtown Herndon, Virginia. Don't forget your blanket or lawn chairs, but leave your pet at home. My daughter has been hopping a lot more these days, probably because we’ve been talking about the Easter bunny! We unfortunately did not win a lottery for the White House Easter Egg Roll, but grandma and grandpa came to the rescue with another Easter Egg Hunt event for her.
Here are some things you can do with your kids to celebrate Easter in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia.
Bunnyland at Butler’s Orchard, Germantown, MD
March 27 – April 3, April 5, 10 and 11, 9 am – 3 pm
Besides Easter Egg Hunt, enjoy a hayride down the bunny trail, try your skill at rubber ducky derby, ride the pedal tractor, swoosh down giant slides, get your face painted, do crafts and visit bunnies, lambs and chicks. Pony ride is available for a small extra fee. Food vendors will be offering hot dogs, veggie pitas, soup, popcorn, cookies and more. $8 for kids and $6 for adults.
