Contest and Giveaway Official Rules

From time to time, I may post giveaways and contests where you can enter for a chance to win items from various sponsors. Here are the official rules on my giveaways and contests.

Who can enter the contest or giveaway?
Contests and giveaways are open to US residents, 18 years or older. Family members are not eligible. No purchase of sponsor’s products is necessary to enter or to win.

How to enter the contest or giveaway?
Each giveaway or contest will include instructions on how to enter for a chance to win, including deadlines to enter. Incomplete entries and entries received after deadline are not eligible, so make sure to follow instructions!

How do you select the winner?
The winner will be selected randomly. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

How do I know if I win?
I will notify the winner either by sending him/her an email (if an email address is provided), or by posting an announcement on Fun Things to Do with Kids blog, Facebook page, or Twitter page.

Yay, I won! Now what?
Congratulations! Please response to my request for your contact information within a specified period as stated in the contest/giveaway instructions, or I will select another winner. I will ask for additional information to send the prize to you, which may include your full name, email address, phone number and mailing address.

Either I or the contest/giveaway sponsor will mail the prize directly to you. I know you’re excited about winning a giveaway, but please do not contact the sponsor directly. If the prize needs to be shipped, we will only mail the prize to a US mailing address.

Anything else I should know?
All federal, state, local and municipal laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.

By entering my giveaway or contest, entrants and winners (you) agree to be bound by these rules and agree that the decisions are final and binding.

You agree to release, discharge and hold harmless me, the giveaway or contest sponsor, their employees, officers, agents and representatives and such others, from any and all liability for injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from participation in this contest or giveaway and/or acceptance of any prize. You agree that any and all disputes and claims related to the contest or giveaway will be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action, and you waive your right to a jury trial for such disputes and claims.

You agree that any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to costs associated with entering the contest, if any, and in no event attorneys’ fees. You agree that you waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.

You agree that I and sponsor are not responsible for any problems with or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, Internet connection, computer systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to your or any other persons’ computers related to participation in this contest or giveaway.
